Times are changing at the Virginia Orchid Society. Starting September 21 we will be meeting on the third TUESDAY NIGHTS rather than on Sunday. Meetings will start at 7pm with the speaker starting no later than 715pm. We also plan on having classes before the meeting for those interested. Our December auction will be on a Saturday.

The speaker for September will be Linda Wilhelm of Woodland Orchids in Charlotte, NC. Her topic will be "Living Gems, plants for small spaces". Pre-orders from her website are welcome. www.woodlandorchids.com

We have all levels of experience in the society and a mentoring program for those who are just starting out with orchids.

The Virginia Orchid Society is based in Richmond and we meet on the third Tuesday nights from September to May at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden.
